1. About Name Change Pro
Name Change Pro is an independent online document preparation service based in the United Kingdom. We help individuals create unenrolled deed poll documents and supporting name-change letters. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We are not affiliated with any UK government department.
2. Our Service
By using Name Change Pro, you agree that:
- You are using the service to create a personal name-change document for yourself or, where applicable, for a child in your legal care.
- All information you provide is accurate, complete and truthful.
- You understand that an unenrolled deed poll is a legally recognised document in the UK but that you are solely responsible for how it is used.
- You will not use this service for any fraudulent, unlawful or deceptive purpose.
3. Payment & Refunds
Payment is processed securely via Square. Our fee is £9.99 per deed poll. As documents are generated and delivered digitally and immediately upon payment, we are unable to offer refunds once your document has been produced. If you experience a technical issue preventing document delivery, please contact us within 14 days and we will regenerate your documents free of charge.
4. Intellectual Property
The document templates, letter formats, website design and all associated content are the intellectual property of Name Change Pro. You may not reproduce, resell or distribute our templates or service without prior written consent.
5. Limitation of Liability
Name Change Pro provides a document preparation service only. We do not guarantee that any specific organisation will accept your deed poll, although unenrolled deed polls are widely accepted across the UK. We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of your deed poll document or any failure by a third party to recognise it.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
